Here at KAVU, we generally use two types of fleece fabrics. There’s the lightweight polar fleece, and then the super-chunky old school heavy-pile sherpa fleece. This here Pinesdale Fleece Jacket is made from the latter, and whilst it wouldn’t look out of place on a camping trip circa 1986, those classic looks are just part of the story. Built with function in mind, that taffeta front lining to keep the wind at bay, whilst the mesh lining at the back keeps things fresh. Those elasticated cuffs are a nice touch too—meaning your sleeves stay put when you’re knocking in tent-pegs and the draught stays out on those evenings by the campfire.
